If
you're staying on North Captiva and have your own plane,
you can arrange to use the private airstrip located on that
island. For commercial flights S.W. Florida International
Airport in Fort Myers is a short ride away. And of course
the family vehicle is always an option.
I
would recommend bringing bicycles or renting them
when you arrive. You can
only truly appreciate the natural beauty these islands
have to offer by slowing down and getting into
an island frame
of mind....strolling the nature trails and strands of
sand on this out island destination just a causeway
away.
